PROJECT

The National Students Esports approached Promod Esports as an execution partner for the Broadcast of the PUBG Campus Championship. The tournament, played on PUBG Mobile, would run for 5 weeks where 16 of UK’s best university teams would compete for the top spots.

DELIVERABLES

Broadcast production, Broadcast talent sourcing, Broadcast graphics package creation

Promod worked closely with NSE’s team in order to deliver a seamless broadcast during the full duration of the tournament. Creating a broadcast out of a PUBG Mobile, required significant engineering in order to fully integrate the mobile environment into a desktop solution capable of being included in the broadcast.

With the tournament happening between March and April, required once again for the team to adapt to the recently implemented COVID regulations, having to shift from a studio broadcast to a remote workflow broadcast.

Promod also sourced relevant broadcast talent that allowed for a deeper connection with the audience while simultaneously creating interesting storylines and engaging narratives.

“Promod Esports ability to rapidly deploy a full service broadcast production for us was impressive. Their professionalism, knowledge and attention to detail always provide us with a high level of confidence in their delivery.” – Sam Hibbert, Head of Partnerships, National Student Esports
