OPERATING LICENCE

Promod has been granted a long term licence by Riot Games to operate the VALORANT Challengers Northern Europe: Polaris! Esports is all about player pathways and community, something that Riot Games understand well and wanted to build in for the burgeoning game VALORANT. Promod Esports were fully aligned with Riot Games in creating an ecosystem and regional competition for Northern Europe that allows players, teams and talent to shine. Allowing us to build a highly accessible competitive landscape focussing on a sustainable model and keeping the community and teams at the forefront of our plans. With one year of Polaris completed and some epic matchups and incredible plays witnessed, we’re looking forward to continuing to push the Northern European VALORANT competitive scene to new heights. To ensure Polaris’ sustainability we have also commercialised the product, bringing partners on board to join the community and elevate content. We work with partners who align with our values and are as excited as we are to bring awesome VALORANT competition to fans. It was important to showcase talent from across Ireland, the Nordics and the UK, as well as provide rising stars with a platform to hone their craft and improve their skill set. We work with some incredible people who have shown so much passion for the regional league and VALORANT in general. The inaugural year of Polaris garnered a whopping 22 million impressions, 405k live views, and 24k of engagements across social media. With over 200 teams competing at different stages across the year, the community created a real buzz around their favourite teams going head to head to be crowned our #Pathfinders and Polaris champions.
